Pretty Paper
Gary brought me these lovely sheets of handmade paper from Thailand, along with some envelopes made from similar stock. I use them in my card making business. Did I say business? I never sell my cards. I just give them away. It is a hobby that takes up a full cupboard, but I like being able to whip out a birthday or wedding card on demand.
We are hoping to go to bed early so we can both get back on CDT time.

My Short Trip to Michigan
I'm just back from a short trip to Michigan to see my niece graduate from Kuyper College. A year ago her brother graduated from Cornerstone and Gary and I were both able to attend his graduation. This year Gary is away in Thailand, so I went to MI alone.
This is my mom with her three kids. I'm the oldest!
We went to the cemetery where 5 or 6 generations of my kin are buried. I think it is odd to see my mom standing by her gravestone--especially when my dad is buried under her name!
A highlight of my trip was to visit my high school youth pastor and his wife along with my high school friend, Becky. We spent several wonderful hours talking about old times.
