Spring Is Here, and That Means Wildflowers

Ah, yes, Texas wildflowers. I did not find Dallas an easy place to live, but I did love the profusion of wildflowers in the spring. That, and the sunshine. We moved there in the middle of a drought (which at the time we assumed was unusual, but found it to be repeated every year--the 50 days or so without rain in the summer), after something like four straight months of gray, rainy days in Georgia. The contrast of sunshine every day was a relief to my eyes, mind and emotion after so much gray heaviness. In any case, the flowers in Dallas were incredible. Thanks for posting these photos.
